1. Title of the Practice Blind Helpline Cell for Higher Education for higher education of visually impaired girl students.

Objectives of the practice -

Mata Jija bai Govt. Girls Post Graduate College is the only college in M. P. in which largest numbers of visually impaired girls are studying with sighted girls. This year (201920) 78 visually impaired girls are studying with support system by institution and volunteer the number of visually impaired girls increase every year. This practice is best example of inclusive education (Samaveshi Shiksha) and about 55 have been secured jobs in organization. It is a matter of great pleasure and proud for our institute. Such student require special additional attention for
  • Recording of educational material in audio form.
  • Scribes for examination that should be junior to students.

Mata Jijabai Govt PG Girls College Moti Tabela, Indore has been a favorite institution not only for the girls of the city of Indore but also of the towns and villages nearby Indore. The college focuses mainly on providing education to the girls at the minimum cost. Its consistent endeavor is towards upliftment of these girls. Admission records show that more than 50 of the girls admitted to this college are below the poverty line,. More than 60. girls are from remote tribal area.

1. The college provides a perfect platform for students to develop their innovative skills by promoting a usage of innovative teaching techniques and learning process. Teachers always encourage students to understand topics through study minded approach, which ensures better understanding and provides strong foundation for their future academics. This has increased confidence of students in active participation in class room.
2. The college, being a state government institution (a lead college of Indore district) has a nominal fee structure. Institution has highly experienced and highly qualified faculties , 75 teachers are PhD. degree holders. Faculty members are appointed through Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission ( M.P. P.S.C.), which ensures high quality of teachers, thus providing quality education under nominal fee structure Several students get scholarships from State Government, which further ensures better education of the economically challenged students.
3. Apart from academic excellence, the college also pays sincere attention to Empowering the girls with heath care and , physical, moral , cultural and skill development of students. Students have shown outstanding performance in Sports, N.C.C., and N.S.S., College also actively encourages the organization of Social, ethical and cultural, events

5. Professional and academic development of teachers is always encouraged. In the year, faculty members have enough publications, faculty members have also been awarded research projects from U.G.C. . Faculty members participate in national ,international seminar, workshop and other training programmes. Technical and administrative staff of the college are appointed by Public Service Commission, and are provided necessary training and support by faculty members as and when required.
